Film Synopsis

The basis of my film is to show the problems of those with lots of power, it will begin with the credits and film title coming up while the audience hears the beginning of an interrogation, introducing the suspect's name, the time, the date and the reason why he is here. After the film title comes up, it will show an awkward silence between the suspect and the detective due to the whole awkwardness of the situation. The suspect is there on suspicion of murdering the detective's wife, he is an ex-convict who has been in prison for drug related crimes. Since leaving prison he has gradually become a 'nobody' in society, being unemployed and having no friends or family. During the interrogation the detective gets more and more agitated due to the obvious fact that this is his wife. The suspect maintains that he didn't do it and has no relation to the woman or the place the murder occurred.

Due to his drug past, and probably present, he will be very twitchy and fidgety, these flinches will come between very fast edits of the murder, a woman being chased and eventually killed by a masked murderer. This will make it look as though the suspect has done it and is recalling it as he is being questioned. The detective finally places him in all of the correct places to prosecute him and eventually sends him to prison, as the suspect is dragged away screaming by another policeman, the detective is left in the dark dingy interrogation room, with a smug look on his face, it then cuts back to the murder with the wife pulling off the mask just as she dies, revealing that it was her husband that in fact killed her, it will then cut between him leaving the interrogation room, and walking back into the public a free man, and him leaving the murder scene.
